As a parent or family member, you know that college will be a time of discovery and transformation for your student. What you may not know is that Student Affairs’ 1,200 staff members will be working around the clock to provide the help, support, and encouragement your University
of Illinois student needs to thrive from Welcome Week through Commencement, and beyond.
The University of Illinois’ outstanding academic programs will be just one part of your student’s Illinois experience. Student Affairs touches the lives of our students every day, with a focus on leadership and career development; health, safety, and wellness; diversity and inclusiveness; and service to others.
