The “You Make a Difference” program is designed to recognize the hard work and dedication of Illini Union employees from the customer perspective. Through written or online submissions, customers of the Il- lini Union can provide positive feedback regarding employees’ exemplary acts of customer service beyond what is typically expected throughout their daily job duties.

Illini Union staff take a moment to commorate participation in Welcome Week 2015 at the Late Nighter event.

MISCELLANEOUS HIGHLIGHTS
• Duane Fitch, Document Services manager, earned certification in the Executive Mail Center Man- ager’s Program through the United States Postal Service. This certification required Duane to attend 20 hours of courses and to sit for a four-hour exam. It will allow Duane to manage production in Document Services Mailing Preparation and in Campus Mail in more efficient and effective ways.
• Jared Eakins, Marcus Burris, Rotimi Ariyo, Melissa Kisubika, Dementro Powell, and Donna Wargo, all from SP&A, served as volunteers with various Illinois Leadership Center I-Programs and initiatives.
• Jared Eakins, IUB program advisor, served on the National Association for Campus Activities Mid-America Educational Sessions Review Committee.
